About The Position
A large multi-specialty hospital is seeking an anatomic/clinical pathologist for locum tenens coverage.
There are many places to visit while on assignment in Central Michigan Take a trip to Belle Isle Park, Mackinac Island, or the Detroit Zoo
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The call schedule alternates weekly, starting at 5:00 PM on Friday and ending at 8:00 AM the following Friday, with a call ratio of every other week. The laboratory holds CLIA certification. The locum provider will be responsible for grossing their own specimens and cutting their own frozen sections. Required anatomic pathology procedures include surgical pathology, GI pathology, GU pathology, neuropathology, dermatopathology, hematopathology (bone marrow, lymph nodes), interpretation of bone marrow aspirate/biopsy, cytology, and autopsy.
