Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full Time

Caseload: 29 students (19 in grades K-8, 10 in high school)
Grade Levels: K-12
Start Date: January 6, 2025

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. In this full-time position, the SLP will support a diverse caseload of 29 students across grades K-12, with 19 students in grades K-8 and 10 in high school. The SLP will be responsible for providing individualized speech and language therapy, collaborating with the school team, and helping students enhance their communication skills to succeed academically and socially.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with students in K-12 settings, particularly in both elementary and high school environments, is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations for students in grades K-12.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and student needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language challenges.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to support students' progress.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Provide consultation and guidance to parents and school staff on speech and language development.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with school and state regulations.
