Mission Technology Expert, Senior

The Opportunity:

As an expert in defense missions, your unique background inspires you to think bigger, push further, and ask questions others don’t. We need your extensive industry knowledge and advisory skills to solve some of our clients’ most complex problems and find solutions that keep our nation safe.

As a Mission Technologies SME, you will bring in-depth understanding and expertise of aerial logistics platforms and operations to include aspects of intra-service, joint, and mission partner missions, processes, and culture. You will also bring a knowledge of tactical datalinks, datalink integration, and new equipment integration into aircraft. You’ll apply advanced consulting expertise and industry knowledge to guide research and develop detailed capabilities and supporting documents.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience working with federal and Department of Defense (DoD) organizations, including the Air Force
  • 5+ years of experience with datalinks and datalink integration, including Link-16, ICBS, and TTNT
  • 3+ years of experience researching technology solutions and trends to solve challenges
  • Experience with the development of data visualizations and dashboards to support decision-making
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, CS, or Engineering

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with program management offices
  • Experience with task leadership or project management, and applying Agile methodology
  • Experience communicating highly complex technical information clearly and articulately at all levels and audiences
  • Knowledge of a broad spectrum of tactical data link protocols, including MIL-STD 6011, MILSTD 6016, MIL-STD 6020, MIL-STD 3011, TCP/IP, serial, simple, and satellite standard
  • Ability to work with program offices, science and technology laboratories, and the industry for solutions
  • Master’s degree in a Science, CS, or Engineering field

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
