Job Opportunity: Special Education Teacher at Soliant Education

Soliant Education is currently seeking multiple Special Education Teachers to join our team in the Cherryville, North Carolina area. These positions offer 37.5 hours per week of fulfilling work in resource classrooms at both the high school and middle school levels.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Provide specialized instruction and support to students in resource classrooms.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure student success and progress.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth for all students.

Requirements:

• Valid North Carolina teaching license with special education endorsement.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in a resource classroom setting.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.
