Job Description:

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to fill in for a maternity leave for the 2024-2025 school year in the East Brunswick, NJ area. We have a full-time, on-site position available to support students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Adapt instructional materials and strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student learning and inclusion.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided.
  • Participate in team meetings, including IEP meetings and other collaborative discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • New Jersey state certification or eligibility for certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
