Soliant Education is seeking a skilled and compassionate School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team in Melrose, MA. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive educational setting for the entire school year. As a W2 contractor through Soliant Education, youll benefit from a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and execute individualized therapy plans aimed at enhancing students functional abilities and independence.
  • Provide direct therapy services to support and improve students daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to promote student success.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to setting and achieving goals.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Dedication to creating a positive and supportive environment for students.
