About The Position

Job Title: Hospitalist (NP/PA)
Location: Pennsylvania

Overview:

We are seeking experienced and board-certified Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our growing hospitalist team. This position offers flexibility in scheduling, with both day and night shifts available, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment within a Critical Access Hospital (CAH).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full-time or part-time hospitalist coverage, managing approximately 8-15 patients per day.
  • Work 12-hour shifts
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare providers, ensuring comprehensive care for inpatients.
  • Perform daily rounding on patients assigned to your service.
  • Utilize Meditech for EMR/charting.
  • Participate in standard hospitalist program coverage with no on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania State License required.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a hospitalist or in a related field.
  • Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
  • DEA and CSR licenses required.
  • Immediate availability is preferred
