It is ranked by Money as one of the top 15 public colleges “most likely to pay off financially,” and U.S. News & World Report rates it the No. 1 public institution among regional universities in the northeast.Position Overview:The School of Education announces an opportunity to apply for a full-time tenure-track (Assistant Professor rank) or non-tenure-track (depending on the candidate’s qualification) faculty position in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology to begin Fall 2026.Responsibilities:The successful candidate for the tenure-track position will be responsible for effective teaching, research, service, and advising. Specific responsibilities will include: Primarily teaching courses in Audiology, Communication Disorders, and Speech and Language Development; secondarily, interest in conducting quality scholarly research that leads to publication in peer-reviewed journals; contributing service to the college community. Qualifications: Required: Applicants for the tenure track position must have an earned Ph.D. Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology (or Au.D.), or Speech and Hearing Science. ABDs will be considered only if the degree will be completed prior to or shortly after the time of employment. Applicants must have a certificate of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. The successful candidate for the non-tenure track position will be responsible for effective teaching, service, and advising. Specific responsibilities will include: Teaching courses in Audiology, Communication Disorders, and Speech and Language Development at introductory levels. Contributing service to the college community. Applicants for the non-tenure track position must have an earned Master’s degree and must have a certificate of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
