Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in the Waterford, Connecticut area for the 2024/2025 school year. This full-time position focuses on working with high school students, offering a rewarding opportunity to support their mental health and educational development. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled professional committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Details:

• Immediate Interviews: We are conducting interviews as soon as possible to fill this full-time position for the upcoming school year.
• Grade Level: High school

Requirements:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Valid Connecticut license or certification as a School Psychologist.
• Experience working with high school students preferred.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Commitment to promoting the mental health and well-being of students.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments for high school students.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student evaluations and progress.
