About The Position
A Connecticut-based medical facility is looking for a Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner for a 20-day locum tenens assignment beginning in August, with the possibility of extension. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm. The role involves treating patients from newborns to 18-year-olds, managing cases such as colds, coughs, flu, well/sick visits, asthma treatment, and occasional suture removal. No walk-ins are accepted. The practitioner will work with two exam rooms and a Medical Assistant who prepares notes and administers vaccines. The facility uses eClinicalWorks EMR.
