Job Description:

Soliant Education is thrilled to announce a rewarding opportunity for a Special Education Teacher to join a dedicated team in Mesa, AZ for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time, on-site position will involve teaching students in both elementary and high school grades, providing a diverse and impactful teaching experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities in both elementary and high school settings.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other school staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Track and assess students' progress, modifying teaching strategies and interventions to support their academic and social development.
  • Foster a positive, engaging, and respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages students' growth and success.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior, and IEP goals.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid Special Education teaching license for the state of Arizona.
  • Experience teaching students with special needs in both elementary and high school settings is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective instructional strategies and behavioral interventions.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive educational environment that supports diverse learners.
