About The Position

8 hour Day shift with potential of sliding back to the evening shift (2p-11p) on occasion. Weekend rotation (approximately every 3rd weekend)

- Ensures accurate patient positioning during radiographic procedures; conducts image operations according to provider requests and other technical factors. Implements radiation safety guidelines and conducts proper radiation protection practices during the imaging process.
- Delivers excellent patient care and education before, during, and after diagnostic imaging procedures. Ability to understand and navigate the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned
- ER, PICU, NICU, Endoscopy, General X-ray, Portable X-rays, Panorex
- Inpatient/Outpatient fluoroscopy – Swallow studies, Cystograms, VCUGs, Urethrograms, Arthrograms, Lumbar Punctures, Myelograms OR – Neurosurgery, Urology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics

Job Requirements

Required skills and minimum years of experience.    
- Working Knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles, including radiographic positioning, film/image processing, quality control, and radiation protection is required.

Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. 
- NDMRIT Licensure Required (North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board)
- ARRT Required
- BLS certified

Shift or schedule requirements. 
Day or evening shifts. Won’t be working alone. Will be assigned weekends (every 2 to 3) as part of the department rotation. Potentially required to take call, no more then once per week.
