Are you a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist seeking an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of students in Livonia, Michigan? Soliant Education is currently seeking a School Psychologist to join our team. In this role, you will work full-time, providing essential support and services to students across various school sites in the Livonia area.

Position Details:

  • Caseload/Sites: You will work across various school sites within the Livonia, Michigan area, providing support and services as needed.
  • Job Description: As a School Psychologist, you will serve on Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams, conduct evaluations, and collaborate with school district staff and parents to support student success.
  • Full-Time: This is a full-time position, requiring a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

Pay: $50-55/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a member of IEP teams, participating in meetings to develop and review individualized education plans for students with special needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning.
  • Collaborate with school district staff, including teachers, administrators, and support personnel, to develop and implement interventions and supports for students.
  • Provide consultation and support to parents and caregivers, helping them understand their child's strengths and needs and advocating for appropriate services.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Michigan.
  • Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in a school psychology role.
  • Strong understanding of assessment techniques, intervention strategies, and special education laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
