Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Mt Clemens, MI

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our supportive practice. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate closely with clients, families, and caregivers to develop customized treatment plans and deliver compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services using evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Educate and support clients, families, and caregivers on communication disorders and therapeutic strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
