Description:

Are you an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist eager to make a difference in the lives of students near Torrance, CA? Soliant Education is currently seeking a passionate individual to fill the role of School-Based OT for the 2024-2025 school year. In this position, you'll collaborate with school teams and families to provide specialized interventions addressing sensory, motor, and developmental needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' functional abilities and areas for growth.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting sensory, motor, and self-care skills.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development.
  • Provide training and consultation to school staff and families on strategies to enhance student independence and participation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid California licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
