Job Description:

The Twin Falls School District is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. This full-time, onsite position will run from August 12 to May 22. The SLPA will work district-wide under the supervision of a highly qualified SLP to provide speech and language therapy services to students.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the supervising SLP in conducting speech and language screenings.
  • Implement treatment plans or protocols developed by the SLP.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality therapy and support.
