Bellevue, WA: School Speech-Language Pathologist

Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a flexible contract assignment who are based in Bellevue, WA.
Soliant is seeking either 2 part-time SLPs, or 1 full-time SLP. Details below:
Position 1: 2 days a week (Wednesdays and Thursdays), working with preschool students
Position 2: 3 days a week (Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays), working with students in transition program.
Additional information about the District, and the building assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- Washington Speech-Language Pathology License
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) credential
As a school-based SLP, you will:
- Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
- Determine if students qualify for services
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Provide reports of a students progress to parents.
- Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
