Position Overview:

Soliant is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Math Teacher for the upcoming school year. This teacher will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for students, helping them build a strong foundation in mathematics and develop problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching math, have the ability to make complex concepts accessible to all students, and be committed to fostering academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach math courses at the [middle school/high school] level, including but not limited to Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, or Calculus.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state standards and school curriculum.
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with special needs and English language learners.
  • Administer assessments and provide constructive feedback to students to improve their understanding and performance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and parents to monitor student progress and address any academic or behavioral concerns.
  • Integrate technology in lessons to enhance student engagement and learning.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
  • Foster a classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and a love for learning.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives, faculty meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and staff.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (required).
  • PA Teaching Certification in Mathematics or equivalent (required).
  • Proven experience teaching math at the [middle/high] school level (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and teaching methodologies.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and provide accommodations for diverse learners.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate students and foster a positive classroom culture.
  • Commitment to professional growth and development.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Education or Mathematics (preferred).
  • Experience with technology-based teaching tools (e.g., smartboards, online math platforms).
  • Experience teaching AP or honors math courses (preferred).
