Are you an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for a rewarding opportunity to work virtually with high school students? We are seeking a dedicated SLP to join our team for a part-time contract position from August to November. This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.

Position Overview: We are looking for a part-time Virtual School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services to high school students in Delaware. In this role, you will deliver therapy sessions virtually, working collaboratively with students, educators, and parents to support students' communication needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' communication abilities and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech and language goals.
  • Provide virtual therapy sessions to high school students, focusing on areas such as articulation, language comprehension, and social communication.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Participate in virtual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input for student goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Delaware state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Previous experience working with high school students preferred.
  • Strong technology skills and familiarity with virtual therapy platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule and Compensation:

  • Part-time contract position, 2 days per week (approximately 16 hours).
  • August to November duration.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to choose preferred days.
  • Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
