Overview

LMI is seeking a SeniorTechnical Trainer with experience supporting mission critical software applications for an Army client focused on acquisition, contracting and procurement solutions. This position requires an Active Secret Clearance.

The candidate will join the Acquisition & Sustainment team and will provide direct support to DoD clients.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs. The candidate will participate in developing and writing training materials specific to the COTS product for the DoD customer and will design exercises to enhance lectures.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions
  • Conduct virtual instructor-led training sessions for large audiences
  • Provide tailored one-on-one instruction
  • Create instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids)
  • Curate library of training resources and maintain accurate records of user training and skill levels
  • Continuously evaluate and hone technical instructional delivery skills
  • Evaluate effectiveness of training to meet client needs and applications
  • Manage the training program in accordance with customer business needs

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of expeirence or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Experience developing and delivering a comprehensive application training curriculum
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented matrix organization environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to listen and empathize and relate to the customer
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with both internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving acumen
  • Excellent communicator capable of delivering technical details to a non-technical audience
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong team player who is always willing to help fellow team members
  • Possesses an active Secret clearance

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in Federal government contracting and/or program management office business processes
  • Knowledge of DoD contracting and the FAR
  • DAWIA/FAC or equivalent certification
