Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Port Orchard, WA
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Port Orchard, WA. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with educators and other professionals to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct intervention services to students with speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, progress, and communication with stakeholders
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and state licensure in Washington
- Experience working with school-aged children
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of current research and best practices in speech-language pathology
