Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Port Orchard, WA

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Port Orchard, WA. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with educators and other professionals to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct intervention services to students with speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, progress, and communication with stakeholders
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and state licensure in Washington
  • Experience working with school-aged children
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of current research and best practices in speech-language pathology
