School Psychologist Position - Manchester, NH Area

Are you a passionate and dedicated School Psychologist looking to make a difference in the lives of elementary school students? Join our team in the beautiful Manchester, NH area and be a crucial part of fostering a positive learning environment

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a School Psychologist to fill a full-time position at the elementary level, split between two buildings within our district. This role involves providing comprehensive psychological services to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to determine students' eligibility for special education services
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention strategies
  • Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic or behavioral challenges
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school climate

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in New Hampshire
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff
  • Experience in conducting psychological assessments and writing comprehensive reports
