Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a school-based assignment for Spring semester: Soliant has partnered with a school 20 miles south of Nashville, TN, and is seeking applicants for a 3- or 4-day contract.

Assignment details below:

  • About 25 students on caseload (number may increase due to incoming referrals or transfers)
  • Work schedule is 7 hours a day, 4 days a week
  • ASAP start - End of School year

Additional information about the District, and the building assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • ASHA certified applicants preferred
  • Tennessee Speech-Language Pathology License


As a school-based SLP, you will:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Participate in the IEP process, or eligibility meetings for new referrals
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
  • Provide reports of a students progress to parents.
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
