Position: Vaco San Diego Talent Pool – Accounting Professionals
Location: San Diego, CA
Schedule: Varies (FT, Onsite/Hybrid/Remote options)
Pay: DOE
Join Vaco San Diego’s Talent Pool We are actively seeking skilled accounting professionals, from Staff Accountant level and above, to match with our clients across the San Diego area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general accounting duties, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Relevant accounting experience (1+ years preferred)
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
