About The Position
Job Title: PhysicianJob Specialty: Psychiatry - Adult InpatientJob Duration: 13 monthsShift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)Guaranteed Hours: Not specifiedExperience: 1-2 years minimum requiredLicense: State license required, will license if necessaryCertifications: Board Certification required; BC/BE with ABMS or AOAMust-Have: Credentialing timeframe of 60 daysJob Description:- Provide psychiatric care to adult patients (ages 18+) in an inpatient setting.- Work full-time, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.- Manage a caseload of 11 patients per day without complex geriatric patients.- Perform rounds on patients throughout the day.- Utilize the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.- Work in a facility with a bed size of 11 and provide 5150 services.- On-call duties may be required based on patient needs and department staffing.- Participate in a 4-hour orientation session.General Requirements:- Flexibility to cover additional hours and take on-call duties.- Team player with strong communication skills.- Adherence to hospital policies and procedures. Vaccinations:- COVID-19 vaccine not required.- Flu vaccine requirement status unknown. Additional Information:- Credentialing fingerprinting takes typically 48 hours to process and must be completed before privileges are granted.- 1.5x normal rate applies for working on holidays.
