Blazerjobs is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year in a supportive school district in Winston-Salem, NC.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate students' needs to develop individualized occupational therapy plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide training and support to teachers and staff on implementing accommodations and modifications for students.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' educational goals.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school and state regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of North Carolina.
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Work Schedule:
  • Start Date: August 12th, 2024
  • End Date: May 20th, 2025
  • Hours: Full-time
  • Days: Monday to Friday

  • Direct services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade
