Blazerjobs is currently seeking a dedicated Virtual Occupational Therapistto join a school district in Eloy, AZ. This is a full-time position, requiring the therapist to work with students from Kindergarten to 8th grade, providing virtual occupational therapy services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual assessments to determine students' occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills.
  • Provide virtual therapy sessions to students, focusing on improving their functional abilities and independence.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' educational goals and participation in school activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Arizona.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for virtual interactions.
  • Ability to effectively manage caseloads and prioritize student needs.
