JOBPURPOSE:
Operates ultrasound equipment toperform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasiveprocedures according to established standards and practices.Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment.Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.Provides
patient care to all age groups to includeneonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicateseffectively with staff andradiologists
Qualifications:
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED:
  • Graduate of an AMAapproved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:None.

MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BYLAW:
  • ARDMS registeredin at least 1specialty.

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:
  • BLScertified.
    One (1) year of experience ispreferred.
    Registered ARDMS and/or RVS/RVT (RegisteredVascular Specialist) is desired.
