Blazerjobs is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologistto join our team for the upcoming school year in Dalton, GA. This position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hours, allowing you to choose the schedule that best fits your needs. As an onsite SLP, you will work directly with students to support their speech and language development throughout the school year.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Direct Therapy: Provide speech and language therapy services to students.
  • IEP Development: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs tailored to each student's needs.
  • Progress Monitoring: Assess and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
  • Resource Preparation: Prepare therapy materials and activities to enhance student learning.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with students, staff, and families.
Qualifications:
  • Certification: Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of Georgia.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of speech and language development, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for helping students improve their communication skills.
