Job Title: School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Hamlet, NC and Surrounding Areas

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for an opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives? Soliant is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Hamlet, NC and surrounding areas. In this role, you will provide assessment, intervention, and support to students with speech and language disorders in educational settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress and educational needs
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language goals
  • Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license or eligibility
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
