Committed to providing quality education, we are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Studies teacher to join our team for the remainder of the school year. This is a full-time contracted position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state curriculum standards and foster critical thinking skills.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to promote growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and activities.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administrators to address concerns and celebrate achievements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Studies, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid Idaho teaching certificate with endorsements in Social Studies (or eligibility to obtain certification).
• Previous experience teaching high school Social Studies preferred, but not required.
• Strong knowledge of subject matter and a passion for teaching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
