Job Description:

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Dobbs Ferry, NY for the 2024-2025 academic year. This role covers students from kindergarten through 12th grade and is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact on their communication skills and overall academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct evaluations using standardized tests and clinical observations to identify students' speech and language needs.
  • Tailored Therapy: Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for a range of communication disorders, including articulation, fluency, and social communication.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with educators, parents, and specialists to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Licensing: Must hold or be eligible for an New York State SLP license.
  • Certification: ASHA certification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: School-based experience is a plus but not mandatory. Passion and dedication are key.
