Job Description:

The Illinois School District is seeking a dedicated and qualified Virtual School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will provide comprehensive psychological services to students, staff, and parents through a remote platform. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting assessments, providing counseling, and collaborating with educators to support students' academic and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop strategies to support student learning and mental health.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and interventions.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in school psychology and mental health.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid Illinois School Psychologist license.
  • Experience with virtual service delivery preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with virtual assessment tools and technology.
