- Coverage Dates:
- July 1-2 & July 29-31
- August 1-6
- Ongoing dates
- 24hr call 6a-6a
- Looking for 24-hour ER cardiology call coverage Must have worked in a joint commission accredited hospital in the last 2 out of 4 years
- Setting: Inpatient
- Duties: Consult patient in ED and inpatients, collaborate with Hospitalists and Specialists, Supervise Stress Tests (Pharmacological /Exercise), Interpret OP and INPT Echocardiology, Holter, Event Monitors
- Required Procedures: Ideal Candidate can perform TEE; optional - Transvenous pacing, tilt table interpretation
- EMR: Cerner
- Support Staff: Cardiology Manager, Echocardiographers and Cardiology Technicians
- Reason for Coverage: Gaps in coverage
- Admissions per Day: Average 3-4 consults, Supervised stress tests: 4-8, Echo's: 5-12
- Types of Cases: Typical "non-interventional" community hospital cardiology cases
- Board Certified IM or Cardiology required OR BE within 5 years required
- State CA License Required
- Residency Requirements/Fellowship Required
- CA DEA Required
