Position: Full-Time, In-Person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Tavares, FL. This is a full-time, in-person position focused on providing high-quality speech and language services to students. The successful candidate will work directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders and collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct therapy and support to students with a range of speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans and IEPs.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes.
  • Participate in meetings, professional development, and other activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid Florida State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to the needs of students.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations.
  • Familiarity with various speech and language disorders and treatment strategies.
