Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for an immediate opportunity within a reputable school district in Thousand Oaks, CA. This is a full-time position requiring onsite presence for the remainder of the school year.
Job Description:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play an essential role in supporting the educational objectives and developmental needs of students within the Thousand Oaks school district. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering comprehensive occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or 504 plans.
- Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and monitor progress.
- Collaborating effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement tailored treatment plans.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of student progress and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Valid California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to assess individual student needs and devise strategies to support their success within an educational framework.
