Key Role:
Support the client mission as an RF Antenna Technician. Provide on-sight field technical expertise and manual labor in the setup, checkout, operation, teardown, packing, and transportation of advanced prototype and operational space related C4ISR systems. Leverage expertise with setting up, operating, and maintaining RF antenna systems. Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot various RF antenna systems. Set up operating sites in the field using deployable RF equipment. Utilize a variety of test equipment to ensure proper system alignment and operation. Train military, civilian, and contractors on various RF equipment.
Basic Qualifications
4+ years of experience with both military and commercial deployable antenna systems and equipment
Experience with Mobility and Logistics
Knowledge of field and operational level support to systems in deployed conditions
Knowledge of proper maintenance techniques across RF, power, control, antenna, and electronic component systems
Ability to setup, checkout, operate, pack, and safely transport a wide range of electronics components and systems and operate test equipment, such as Spectrum-Analyzers, Signal Generators, Satellite-Simulators, or O-Scopes
Ability to communicate technical approaches and details within small project teams, including team interaction and presentation
Ability to travel overnight up to 20% of the time with trip durations ranging from overnight to several weeks
TS/SCI clearance
Associate's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
Additional Qualifications:
Experience in satellite or cellular communications and associated networking and IP based systems to troubleshoot system problems
Knowledge of fiber optics, including installation, testing, or transceiver operation or troubleshooting
Knowledge of systems integration across RF and baseband frequencies
Knowledge of RF fundamentals and signal processing systems
Knowledge of RF systems and communications across open-air, closed loop, and lab level environments
Forklift Operator Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
