Position Details:

  • Title: Special Education Teacher - Coordinator
  • Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite
  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
  • Responsibilities:
    • Complete N1s meeting invites and serve as the district representative.
    • Attend meetings, primarily virtual, to provide input and support.
    • Conduct minimal testing and assist with IEP writing; however, the therapeutic schools primarily handle IEP writing.
    • Track data and coordinate referral packets as needed.
    • This role is not student-facing but plays a crucial role in supporting the special education process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Massachusetts teaching license in Special Education.
  • Previous experience in coordinating special education services preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
