Join our team as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year We are committed to providing comprehensive support services to ensure the academic, social, and emotional success.

Position Overview:As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in promoting the well-being and academic achievement of students in our school district. You will collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to assess students' needs, develop interventions, and create a positive and inclusive school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and areas of need.
  • Interpret assessment data to inform instructional planning, intervention development, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) eligibility.
  • Provide direct counseling services to students to support their social, emotional, and behavioral development.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective behavior management plans and interventions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress, develop intervention strategies, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Serve as a resource to school staff and families on issues related to mental health, learning disabilities, and social-emotional development.
  • Conduct workshops and trainings for staff and parents on topics such as positive behavior support, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed practices.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid North Carolina School Psychology License or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations in a school or clinical setting.
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills, including experience with standardized assessment tools and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
