Occupational Therapist (OT) for School Setting - Near Trenton, NJ

Soliant Health, a premier healthcare staffing firm, is currently in search of an Occupational Therapist for a school-based position near Trenton, NJ. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a school environment, impacting students' lives positively through essential occupational therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with students, educators, and parents to assess and cater to individual student needs effectively.
- Design and execute personalized treatment plans aimed at improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, and overall functional abilities.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, either individually or in group settings, aligned with their educational objectives.
- Recommend adjustments to classroom setups and suggest adaptive equipment or assistive technology to facilitate students' academic and social engagement.
- Maintain meticulous records of student progress, engage in clear communication with relevant stakeholders, and actively participate in team meetings and IEP discussions.

Requirements:
- Possession of a valid Occupational Therapist license.
- Completion of a Masters Degree program from an accredited Occupational Therapy institution.
- Demonstrated passion for working with children and a keen desire to contribute positively within a school-based environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for effective collaboration with students, parents, educators, and fellow professionals.
- Ability to tailor therapy techniques and methodologies according to the unique requirements and capabilities of individual students.
