Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team near Fort Liberty, NC. In this role, you will work with a diverse caseload, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and family members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support the overall well-being and development of your clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and tailored interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, psychologists, and educators, to ensure holistic care.
  • Educate and support families and caregivers on strategies to facilitate progress and manage communication disorders.
  • Document client progress, treatment plans, and other relevant information in a clear and timely manner.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of speech-language pathology through continuing education and professional development.
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and community outreach activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid North Carolina state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a clinical, school, or healthcare setting is desirable.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant technology.
