Vaco Staffing is currently seeking Insurance Follow-up Specialists for temporary to hire opportunities This role will be mostly remote after the 1st week of training and also offers a flexible schedule Job responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing patient bills for accuracy and completeness and obtaining any missing information.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing.
  • Following up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe.
  • Follow-up on denials and writing appeals
  • Checking each insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract discount.
  • Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary.

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure.
