Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid: Bloomington, IL-Corporate, Dunwoody, GA-Park Center, Richardson, TX-Cityline
  • In this position, you should plan to spend time working in the office and remotely (with the ability for same day travel to and from your assigned office location) as part of a hybrid work arrangement. Work arrangements could change over time based on business need. Your manager will share additional information regarding your department's approach and what it means for you.

About P&C Actuarial and Underwriting Modeling (PCM):

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Product Owner to join our data team. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and driving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data-related products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality data solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual who is passionate about leveraging data to drive business growth.

  • Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the overall data team strategy and business goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand user needs, and translate them into clear and actionable user stories
  • Create and maintain a product roadmap, incorporating input from various stakeholders and ensuring efficient delivery of features
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between the data team and other teams to ensure successful execution of projects
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to the development team throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, user feedback, and data metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous product optimization
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in the data field, and apply relevant knowledge to enhance product offerings

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a data-driven environment
  • Strong understanding of data concepts, tools, and technologies, including data warehousing, data analytics, and data visualization
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable user stories
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, with a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering data products, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple priorities
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align product strategies with organizational goals
