  • Pay Rate: $22.00- $25.00 Per Hour
     
Job Description for Book Keeper: 
  1. Maintain client cash accounts.
  2. Contact client on cash concerns.
  3. Assist with year end 1099s and miscellaneous financial preparation.
  4. Overtime hours required in tax season, limited to an additional 5 hours per week.

Job Requirements for Book Keeper:
  1. Accounting Experience (1+ year)
  2. Proficient in the use of QuickBooks and various accounting software systems and Excel 
  3. Enters and pays invoices accurately; aware of due date and correctness of invoice
  4. Aware of general ledger accounts and proper posting
  5. Posts and processes payroll correctly and understands payroll principles
  6. Controls cash and presents accurate cash report/balance to clients
  7. Files sales tax returns
  8. Reconciles book to bank accurately
  9. Learning journal entries for accrued financial statements
  10. Organized and detail oriented
  11. Positive attitude
