Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Lake Elsinore, CA. As an Occupational Therapist with us, you will work with a diverse population, focusing on rehabilitation and helping clients achieve their maximum functional potential. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals across the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify clients' strengths and challenges related to daily living activities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and goals set with clients.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Educate clients and their families on strategies to enhance independence and safety in daily activities.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in California.
- Experience in occupational therapy preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
