Summary:

The Process Mapping Analyst partners with business unit managers across multiple business lines to define and visualize processes, providing support for rollout of new products, policies, and systems, while fulfilling regulatory requirements. Analyzes objectives, recommends process improvements, designs business processes and drives key initiatives to support these processes. Works independently with little supervision and works directly with operations leadership and staff to observe and document detailed process maps. Acts as a leader by taking responsibility to identify and resolve issues through collaboration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Consultation and Analysis

Produces detailed process documentation that is used by operational personnel to understand relationships between various business lines and process steps and is provided to both internal and external auditors and examiners.Documentation is accomplished through investigation of processes, understanding requirements documents, researching outstanding issues, and identifying gaps.Drives initiatives and has responsibility for business outcomes.Looks at the broadest possible view of an issue or challenge.Considers impact to vendor and workflow of existing processes.Uses analytical skills to streamline business processes.Understands and applies limitations and unique advantages of existing enterprise capabilities.Analyzes marketplace, industry, company and technology trends and best practices.Designs and documents business processes to improve efficiency.Actively listens and interprets requirements, specifications to develop basic functional designs and identify potential issues and shortfalls.Develops solutions to business problems or new business requirements.Creates maps of current and future processes.Identifies financial impact of process change

Execution

Directly drives execution of initiatives. Manages multiple initiatives effectively.Interfaces with technical and non-technical contributors to ensure that deliverables accurately meet business line’s goalsDevelops detailed plans and timelines.

Communication

Relates well with all levels of the organization and builds appropriate rapport.Builds positive relationships with external business partners through personal integrity and through added value as evidenced in project outcomes.Communicates with manager proactively regarding any capacity issues or opportunities

Knowledge

Understanding of business processes and functions at a high levelAwareness of regulatory environment and implications

Skills

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
