Soliant Education is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist in Plymouth, MI. This full-time role offers the chance to work in a supportive educational environment for the entire school year. As a W2 contractor through Soliant Education, you will have access to comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' specific challenges.
  • Provide direct therapy services to enhance students' functional skills and independence.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to goal-setting.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Michigan.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment for students.
