BASIC FUNCTIONS: The Casino Host will provide outstanding guest services to the patrons of the Casino. Incumbent will promote the Players Club Rewards Card by making contact with perspective club members, explaining the benefits and answering questions about membership. The Casino Host is responsible for the efficient operation of the activities of the Player Services areas when assigned a shift. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Gaming Operation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING & WORK EXPERIENCE

 Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.

 Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.

 Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

 Must possess excellent communication skills.

 Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees, and customers.

 Must have the ability to effectively interact with the customers and employees.

 Ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

 Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

 Must have High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED).

 Must have one (1) year of previous work experience in Sales or Customer Service or closely related work experience.

 Must have previous experience working on a personal computer and cash register.

 Must have previous data entry experience.

 Must have the ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with staff, guests, team members, management, or other departments to effectively carry out job duties.

 Must have previous experience working in a team environment.

 Must have the ability and willingness to obtain additional education and training in customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Identifies, develops, and sustains the quality or working relationships with the casino guests.

2. Uses discretionary authority to arrange accommodations and amenities (i.e. entertainment, hotel, restaurant and transportation.)

3. Ensures guests are communicated with and invited to events; supports execution through attendance and follow-up.

4. Provides complimentaries according to established guidelines and sound business practices.

5. Utilizes the casino computer system for the purpose of tracking complimentary items to qualified guests based on company comping guidelines.

6. Uses proactive discretionary comping to encourage repeat patronage.

7. Ability to think independently in making decisions to maximize customer service experience and program profitability.

8. Ability to effectively manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.

9. Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed, hours are determined by 24-hour schedule.

10. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

11. Attends all necessary training meetings.

12. Performs other duties as reasonably requested by Management.
