  • Be our next Senior Structural Engineer for our Chicago office within the Infrastructure & Transportation business practice.
  • In this role, you will work under the direct supervision of the Midwest Bridge Department Manager with a focus on highway, railway and transit structures including bridge, culverts and retaining walls.
  • Project types will be diverse and include repair, rehabilitation and new construction for clients such as IDOT, CDOT, WisDOT, Tollway, Metra and CTA.
  • Supervise and direct staff engineers and technicians to meet project deadlines as well as scope and budget requirements.
  • Assist project managers with scoping and budgeting for structural work and be responsible for quality assurance of deliverables.
  • Knowledge of bridge analysis, design and detailing as it pertains to IDOT, Tollway, CDOT, Metra, and local agencies and applicable design codes such as AASHTO and AREMA
  • Proficient with Bentley’s MicroStation® software required; 3D experience preferred but not required
