The Medical Lab Scientist performs a variety of clinical lab tests, procedures, and related duties. Utilizes scientific principles as well as technical, procedural, and problem–solving aptittudes for day to day lab technical operations, quality control, quality assurance, and clinical lab related continuing education.Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree from a four–year college or university and completion of NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program, Bachelor's Degree & one to two years of Medical Laboratory Scientist experience/training acceptable to the ASCP or AMT.Certification, Licensure, Registration
Certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist from the ASCP or AMT within one year of hire date.Work Schedule
Varied Shifts: occasional weekends, occasional holidays, occasional call; PRN (as needed)Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$27.50 – $41.50 per hour
